Es ist eine ruhige Nacht im Nordatlantik, als die Titanic auf ihrer Jungfernfahrt einen Eisberg streift. Was zunächst unspektakulär wirkt, entwickelt sich innerhalb weniger Stunden zu einer der bekanntesten Katastrophen der Geschichte.

Radio Obscura rekonstruiert die Ereignisse dieser Nacht, von den ersten Minuten nach der Kollision über die Evakuierung bis zu den Stunden im Wasser. Dabei geht es nicht nur um den Untergang selbst, sondern auch um Entscheidungen, Strukturen und die Frage, warum genau dieses Ereignis bis heute erinnert wird.
